Season Extended

While hotels on the North Black Sea coast have started to close due to lack of tourists, in the south they are thinking about extending the tourist season.

One week after the market opened and the abolition of the mandatory 14-day quarantine was lifted, Bulgaria received the first 200 tourists from Belarus, NOVA reports. On September 1, the obligatory quarantine and the obligatory PCR test for the citizens of Belarus entering our country were abolished. This allowed the tourism industry to take a breath of fresh air at the end of the season.

The first 190 tourists landed on a flight from Minsk to Bourgas. They will stay in hotels in Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Saint Vlas and Sozopol. The guests say that they were looking forward to Bulgaria opening its borders. The citizens of Belarus are calm that the hotels in our country apply sufficiently safe conditions for rest.

Four more planes from Minsk are expected to arrive in Burgas by the end of September.
